A Curtis plane en route from Galesburg Illinois to Mauston for fair exhibition descended in a field east of August Zauft’s Merrimack home due to rain and fog. Piloted by Roy Youmans with Drew Harwood aboard, the aircraft avoided the Baraboo bluffs and landed safely. They walked on to Baraboo after leaving the Zaufts.

The program featured piano duet Meditation, readings, soprano solos, and duets led by Mrs. Henke, Miss Morley, Miss Frances Jones, Miss Ethel Hoag and others.
