Oats Drop at Portage Crashes Barn and Vehicles
A bin of oats weighing seven to eight hundred bushels broke through the second floor at Hyland livery barn Portage. The weight collapsed floor stringers and fell to the first floor demolishing a hack and cutter. The force turned the vehicles into kindling and partially caved a partition toward the horse barn. Infant dies in Sauk City newborn mourned
The infant son of Mr and Mrs Michael Blindauer died Monday in Sauk City. Born February 5, the baby lived about two weeks. Funeral was Tuesday at 10 a.m. from St. Aloysius Catholic church and burial followed in the local Catholic cemetery.
