Witwen camp meeting drawn by autos and faith
About 300 autos gathered at the Witwen Sauk county camp meeting ground for a day of inspiration and patriotism. The new tabernacle cost about 1200 dollars and was dedicated debt free. Dinsmore of Reedsburg spoke for the war stamp drive as Rev. H. E. Erffmeyer led the proceedings with Rev. B. R. Wiener as visiting speaker.

Sauk County Training School Alumni Luncheon Held
This busy week at Sauk County Training School ended with the annual alumni luncheon at noon in the training school building. A large gathering of alumni relatives and friends joined this year’s graduates teachers and school board for the midday meal and a lively postmeal program. The gymnasium buzzed with activity and singing was noted as a county highlight.

Local Prices Set for Flour Substitutes by County Committee
The county federal food administrator group led by H. L. Halsted T. F. Risley and W. J. Power fixed store prices for substitutes to take effect Monday June 16. Oatmeal rolled oats 12¢ per unit barley flour 6¢ potato flour 12¢ per unit.
