J J Brooks leased the John M Kelley residence at Eighth and Oak. Attorney Kelleys family will spend time in the south of New England. Mr Brooks is an auditor with the Ringling show. last winter the family occupied the Bliss home.

The body of Seymore Litz a 23 year old Chicago tourist drowned in the Wisconsin river at Kilbourn this week has not been recovered searchers remain at work on the river. A Kilbourn resident said Litz slipped from a boat while photographing two companions they were on shore when he fell over and briefly grasped an oar before sinking.

Auto Collision On Rural Fork Near City
A head on crash at the fork of Winfield road two miles north of town involved Gus Kleeber and Clarence Powell. Rain reduced visibility as Powell turned left to avoid a supposed right fork, both drivers failing to see each other.
