The first out of county arrest by the new speed cop William Stoneselfer occurred this morning as F A Teigan of Minneapolis was taken into custody near Pansy Heights. He appeared before Justice H L Halsted and was fined 10 dollars plus costs. The new highway policeman began duties midweek succeeding R L Capener.

Robinsons to France for wartime medical work

The Loganville band led the parade from the armory to the park, with children opening exercises by singing America. City Attorney H N Winchester welcomed visitors as Lieut. Governor E B Dithmar, Hon Tittlemore, and J C Houston spoke. Houston later named as president and Houston as secretary of the state organization.
