Lawrence Luce, son of Mr and Mrs J H Luce of Fairfield, was kicked by a horse at A R Barbers blacksmith shop. The hoof struck the back of his head as he dodged the blow, knocking him onto a pile of hammers. He was taken to a physician for treatment. severity not yet known.

Lower Rates Sought in Prairie du Sac Hearings
A public hearing is planned for January 6 in Prairie du Sac to consider lower rates and an investigation into services and rates charged by the Prairie du Lac Mill & Power Company. Team Runaway Horses Kill One Near School
