Wolves Doing Damage Around Plymouth Area

Child Rescued At The Dells By Quick Mother's Rescue
A Chicago party visiting the Dells near Kilbourn saw a child slip from the boardwalk into water thirty feet below. The mother, an expert swimmer, leapt in first and grazed a tree but saved the child from drowning. The youngster was likely unconscious after the fall and the mother acted just in time.

Auto thief John Hunter in Beloit gets eight years
John Hunter of Beloit pleaded guilty to stealing several cars and disposing of four in Baraboo. He was sentenced to eight years in the state penitentiary at Waupun. Hunter is the son of Frank Hunter formerly of Reedsburg and had prior cattle theft ties to Riley Stone’s farm years ago.
