Packard Skids Ford in Portage Road Crash
A Ford owned by Frank Hoddy Miller and occupied by his wife and Mr and Mrs John Hall was badly damaged when a Packard, license 17148 owned by W H Pier, allegedly sped and attempted to pass near a culvert. The collision threw the Ford into a ditch. All four occupants were injured and receiving medical care.

Emil Jesse of Baraboo lost an arm when the engine he was fireman on ran over it at Lodi while water was being taken aboard passenger train 513. He also suffered a fractured leg and hip. the arm was amputated above the elbow at Baraboo hospital.
