Body of Unknown Man Found Near Kilbourn
Coroner Charles Baker traveled to Kilbourn after a body was found along the tracks about three miles beyond Kilbourn. District Attorney H B Rogers and Baker planned an inquest at Ingle Undertaking rooms. Authorities suspect the man may have fallen from or been thrown from a night train between Kilbourn and Portage.

Identification of Milwaukee Trainside Murder Victim
The dead man found on the Milwaukee right of way east of Kilbourn is Benny Emiel Hermanson of Rio. He had been in Clark county seeking a farm onshares and wired for a ticket home from New Lisbon. Unable to reach relatives he attempted to return via Portage and presumably fell from an early morning train on March 28. Coroner Charles Baker led the inquest. the body was sent to Rio Portage Register.

German Band Forced to Play US Anthem at Gunpoint
In Abbottsford Wisconsin yesterday a German street band touring northern and eastern Wisconsin was driven from town by saloonkeeper Michael Fahey who ordered them to play The Star Spangled Banner under threat with a revolver. He then forced the musicians to leave on the next train within fifteen minutes.

The Baraboo River surged Tuesday after noon when flood waters released by a nearby dam broke, flooding land between Welsh bridge and Merrimack and Baraboo roads. Kilbourn Rural Carrier Dies Sudden at 55
Orrin Foster died suddenly at his Kilbourn home on a Saturday after noting he felt queer. He was 55 and had served as a rural carrier for 12 years. Caledonia Man Severely Injured Trimming Wood
Joseph Weber of Caledonia sustained a serious knee injury while trimming wood at home. The ax blade struck the inside of his right knee cap, removing part of it and causing a deep gash. He will be laid up for weeks. Weber is the son of Frank and Mrs Weber of Caledonia and son in law of John and Mrs Gorman of Portage.
