In a Madison conservation case from November 26 1916 justice Halsted fined Arthur Sprecher Grant Ferris Albert Beyer and Walter Hahenberger 100 each plus about 20 costs. Edward and Walter Schweppe pleaded not guilty with trial to follow.

Wisconsin Boy’s and Girl’s Baby Beef Contest entries must be sent to Wisconsin Live Stock Breeders’ Association in Madison for instructions and blanks. Sauk County entries close April 1 1917 and blanks should go to the Sauk County Agricultural Association in Baraboo.
