Automobile Show at Madison Draws 5000+ Visitors

Robert Marion La Follette born June 14 1855 in Primrose Dane County became Wisconsin’s first native born governor serving 1901 to 1906 and later US senator from 1906 onward. He studied at the University of Wisconsin graduating 1879 and passed the state bar in 1879. He practiced law in Madison and entered politics as Dave County district attorney from 1881 to 1885 and served in Congress 1885 to 1891. He sought the Republican nomination for governor in 1898 but lost to Edward Scofield.

Team Goes in River After Ice Plow Incident
