Saint Pauls Mission church and school in the Little Rockies
In the heart of the Little Rockies near Malta Montana stands St Pauls Mission church and school founded in 1886 by Rev Father Erbischweiler under Jesuit direction. The site features artful paintings worth ten thousand dollars and a dormitory and classrooms built by Ursuline Sisters and students. The mission raises two hundred pupils, teaches basic public school subjects, agronomy, horticulture, and religious instruction, while caring for the sick and needy.
