The Sandstone Lodge A F and A M No 84 mourns the death of Brother Fred Riley born Sept 15 1866 in Esablin Wisconsin. He joined Virqua Lodge No 54 Wisconsin in 1914 and died November 3 1917 at Calumet Montana. Interment at Calumet Cemetery with Masonic rites. He was a devoted husband father and citizen who upheld law and order during World War I.

The F. P. C. Club and the Red Cross met at Mrs. Golden's. A chicken dinner was served. An hour meeting followed by Red Cross time. Next meeting will be at the Ames home on the 16th. Red Cross dance tickets on sale for November 16 at the Hall. Grange voted to give money to the Red Cross and to sell its organ for 10 dollars to aid the local branch. Services Sunday at 2 pm with Rev. Curtis in charge.
