German Boats Lost In North Sea Sinks In Naval Engagement
The British admiralty announced a North Sea battle in which one German cruiser and ten armed patrol boats were sunk. The Marie of Flensburg was overwhelmed and set aflame, with 30 of 81 crew killed and seven survivors wounded. The British reported 64 prisoners. no British losses occurred.
