Adjutant General Greenan, back from California, announced no Second Montana company will head to Helena until reaching 150 men and three officers. Only one battalion at a time will be brought to Fort Harrison due to snow and water. Four companies fit in barracks. battalion will be equipped, sent out, with war department directions. Death of Mrs Brown Wife of Baker Businessman
Mrs. Abe Brown died at her Baker home Tuesday after a two year illness. She leaves her husband two sons aged ten and two, her mother, four brothers and four sisters including Mrs Edw Moss of Marmarth. Funeral was Thursday at the Congregational church with Rev J C Evans officiating. burial in Baker cemetery. Community offers sympathy.
