Valentine Party At Baker A Delightful Social Affair

Baker hosted a refined Valentine party last Saturday with hostesses Mesdames I J Baker R S Johnson and P P Chaning. The Masonic hall glowed pink with a heart themed decor and a five hundred game produced top prizes for largest score and notable favors. Lunch was served by Misses Millard Cornish Sparks Daugherty Hubbard. A long guest list included H E Hitch G Chilton E O Lentz H W Sparks R S Hamilton G M Daugherty and many others. Separate notes covered land office isolated tract sales new rules and a planned talk by a representative of the American Society of Equity in Baker next Tuesday.

Montana lawmakers seek $160000 annual savings from two bills

After forty days in session with under twenty working days left, legislators consider two economy bills. One would have Montana carry its own fire insurance risks, saving about $100,000 yearly for state and local governments. Stars Entertain Grand Charity Chapter No 60 OES

The Stars entertain Grand Charity Chapter No 60 of the Order of Eastern Star under Mrs Maude Meyers Worthy Grand Matron at the Masonic hall chapter rooms. Mrs Meyers praised the high quality of the exemplified work and gave a short address for the order. Afterwards initiatory exercises concluded and guests went to Mrs Hildreth home for a plentiful repast and social hour.
