Road project gains backing from Florida and Georgia leaders
Senator Igliaferro and other Florida and Georgia lawmakers joined army engineers as Mr. Legg announced arrangements with the Carnegie Steel company to finance a new road. He said the route would pass through productive land in southwest Georgia and Florida, a region that has grown rapidly in recent years.
