Petitioners E R Powell M D Powell B Nussbaum and E C Lamb request to form THE OAK CITY COOPERAGE COMPANY in Bainbridge Decatur County Georgia. Capital stock starting at 15000 dollars with 10 percent paid, may rise to 50000, stock 100 dollars per share. Company to manufacture barrels and all wooden wares, with corporate powers, bylaws, branch offices, and a four director board. Directors to meet monthly with stockholder meetings annually and provisions on calls for unpaid stock and transfer restrictions. Filed April 8 1895 by Dona son and Hawes attorneys. clerk C W Wimberley attested.
A Bainbridge proclamation calls a special April 30 election on issuing $7 500 in bonds to build furnish and equip a City Hall for the City Council officers and Fire Department. Bonds bear 5 percent interest with annual payments through 1925 and are issued in $500 installments. Voters will mark FOR BONDS or AGAINST BONDS and results go to the City Council.
