Miss Patricia Salisbury and Charles Primmer wed at noon Saturday in Cheyenne Wyoming. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Salisbury of Lyle and the groom the son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Primmer of Hanover Pennsylvania.
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley J. Collette and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd L. Jensen observe their 25th wedding anniversaries. An open house from 2 to 5 p.m. at Faith Church will honor the couples with their children as hosts.

The bride wore a white organza gown with Empire bodice and a silk veil. attendants wore aqua and orange gowns. reception followed at the church parlors. The couple will reside at 311 East 4th Street Albert Lea after a Florida honeymoon.
Miss Carol Pitzen daughter of Mr and Mrs Alfred Pitzen Stacyville was honored at a church hall shower in Stacyville Visitation Church Hall Corsages were given to the bride to be her mother and several guests Bingo prize went to Mrs Clayton Clausen Hostesses included Mrs Melvin Heimer Mrs Paul Heimer and others Pitzen to wed Vaughn Rossum Osage at Visitation Catholic Church Stacyville on June 17.
Miss Lani Heimer was honored at a bridal shower Sunday at 1508 6th Ave NE. Hostesses included Mrs. Wilbert Monty and Mrs. Sylvester Mitchell with corsages for the bride and her mother. Entertainment and prizes accompanied games and gift opening. The marriage to Ralph Delgado of Hollandale is set for July 1 at St Edward's Church.
Miss Mary Ann Pratt of Waterloo was honored at a Sunday shower hosted in Stacyville by Mrs. Louis Schilling. Prizes were won by several guests including Mrs. Carl Schmidt and Miss Regina Weis received the door prize. Pratt and David Paul Schilling of Waterloo plan to wed June 24 at St. Edwards Church in Waterloo.
Miss Vicky Lee Nemitz daughter of Mrs. Ferne Nemitz and Richard Nemitz became the bride of Verne Gutman son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Gutman at 2 p.m. Saturday in Christ Episcopal Church with Rev. T. J. Williams officiating. The couple plans to reside in Orlando Florida after a short trip. both are Austin High School graduates.
The Lyle Pythian Sisters observed the birthdays of Mrs. Walter Hall Mrs. Wilbur Mittag Mrs. Lavern Austinson and Mrs. Arthur Rohne at a Monday gathering. Plans were set for a Fourth of July parade float and a white elephant sale at the next meeting. Fantan prizes were won by Miss Nancy Wilder and Mrs. Anton Wilder, with a door prize to Mrs. Harvey Golberg. Hostesses were Mrs. Golberg and Mrs. Effie Austinson.
Mrs. Thomas Meyerhofer of Osage was honored at a Friday shower hosted at the home of Mr and Mrs Niefred Meyerhofer in Stacyville. Gifts were won by Mrs Albert Von Feldt and Mrs John Bassler. Hostesses were Mrs William Meyerhofer and Mrs W L Meyerhofer. The Meyeroffs recently returned from Germany and reside in Osage.
The Austin Violet Club met for dinner Tuesday at Skyline Supper Club in Albert Lea and visited Mrs. Arthur Johnson's home on Rt. 2. They saw her rock garden and heard an organ music program before naming a nominating committee: Mrs. Walter Fenske, Mrs. Martin Crosby, and Mrs. Carl Gilbertson.
Home Extension Friendly 16 met at Mrs. Jay Johnsons home to discuss fall group activities. Contests were won by Mrs. Marie Werner and Mrs. Jean Ryks. A 12:30 picnic is planned for June 27 at Mrs. Leslie Krafts home.
