Grand Meadow Boy Drowns in Tank
The 20 month old Russell Stier of Grand Meadow fell into a stock watering tank and died after about three minutes submerged. Ambulance teams from Burrington and Austin Cab tried to revive him en route to St Olaf Hospital with Dr Hagen assisting. Funeral services set for Friday at St Finbarrs Church in Grand Meadow.

The Army Corps of Engineers reported minor flooding of gravel roads and projected the lake level to drop gradually once repairs proceed.
