Kansas City December 6 The National Bank of Commerce of Kansas City a major Western institution with about 16 million dollars in deposits has closed its doors and been placed under bank examiner oversight by order of the comptroller of the currency. Nearby Stock Yards and Union Avenue Banks also closed depositors and authorities seek reopening.
