Embezzler of Iowa School Funds Brought to Trial
W A Farren alias M D W Adams former cashier of the Farmers bank of Clearfield Iowa was arrested in Kansas City on the charge of embezzling Taylor Iowa school funds deposited in the bank causing its failure. The bank closed June 26 1906 with losses over 33000 and Farren vanished and later used the name Adams while working as a janitor in a large office building in Kansas City.
