Dear Brutus at UT Theatre Provokes Thoughtful Amusement
Barrie’s fantasy play Dear Brutus, staged by the University of Texas drama department under B. Iden Payne, delivers a brisk, entertaining evening. Kathryn Grandstaff’s Margaret shines, Mouzon Law’s Lob delights, and the 1917-18 period costumes and sets reinforce the nostalgic mood. The piece remains moralistic yet engaging, inviting reflection on second chances.
