Funeral services for William N. Weir, longtime Williamson County farmer and member of a pioneer family, are set for Sunday afternoon at Friedrich Funeral Home in Georgetown. Weir died Friday in an Austin hospital after months of illness. born September 25, 1879, he was tied to the Weir home place since 1851 and left a widow Mollie Farris and children Charles Allison, plus daughters Mrs. Guy L. Clymer and Mrs. Albert S. Hopkins Jr. He also leaves a sister Mrs. Fannie Nowlin and a brother H. M. Weir. He was a member of Weir Methodist Church.
