Courts Told To Skip Small Party Fusses
The Texas Supreme Court ruled that disputes over small party offices fall outside judicial reach as the county executive statute applies only to parties with 200000 votes or more. The 1947 Dallas GOP chairmanship dispute between Ralph Currie and Dick Wall was deemed a party matter, not a legal issue.

Williams' Summer and Smoke At Broadway Opens With Mixed Hopes

Margaret Phillips shines as the heroine with Ted Andrews as the doctor being less impressive. Margo Jones directed the Dallas Theatre 48 production with Jo Melziner’s set and notable lighting.
