Sidewalk Posse Captures Bank Robber After Short Chase
In Carnation Washington on May 1 a 20 year old Monroe man Elroy Oster robbed the Washington State Bank then fled. A posse of bartenders clerks and volunteers pursued Oster to Novelty Hill where his car overheated and Brown bank manager took him into custody. Oster surrendered giving back the $700 and was jailed in King County after the incident.
