B36 Crewman Shot Into Space As Dome Breaks

A crewman on a B36 bomber was shot into space when a plastic dome burst over Arizona during a routine training flight at five and a half miles altitude ten miles south of Hope. Carswell Air Force Base said the unidentified crew member’s fate was not immediately known. The bomber returned to Carswell after circling the scene.

Explosions Hit American Cyanamid Plant in Bridgeville

Two blasts struck the American Cyanamid Company plant near Bridgeville Pennsylvania on a Friday night injuring two workers slightly.
