Janelle Spradling honored at a miscellaneous shower on Bee Cave Road. Guests included Martha Richter and Betty Joyce Wells as part of a small gathering featuring violets, a decorated cake with bride and Cupid motifs.
Pflugerville March 9. The Ladies Aid of Immanuel's Lutheran Church held an anniversary session at the Luther League. Attending were Mesdames Alfred Fuchs C Pfluger and O C Pfluger among others.
Four musicians will perform for the Austin ae Club program on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Castle play piano and violin, Mrs. C. E. Mick is a cellist, and Mrs. Weldon B. Scheel is a soprano. A directors session at 10 a.m. precedes the event, with luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Hostesses include Mrs. Walter C. Moore and Mesdames Albert G. Walker John W. Robbins E. R. Pedigo John H. Sharp and B. P. Clark.

The Hillcrest Baptist Church TEL Class held a social gathering recently at the home of Mrs. Guy Fletcher. Mrs. Josephine Ward directed the 2009 event as social chairman and refreshments were served.
The St Elmo Home club gathered at Mrs Walter Carlson's home with members B E Grohmann O R Rogers A M Fieming John Brandt Joe Smith J M Spiilar Jack Lockwood Walter Carlson H E Wise W B Sharp J D Koenig and Miss Myrtle Dusen present. The next meeting is set for March 29.
Wesleyan Service Guild of Ward Memorial Methodist Church will convene at 7 30 p m Thursday with Mrs J K Beery 1206 Willow Guest speaker will be Mrs C A Barr who will discuss The Advance Program and What he Means to Us Mesdames Clyde Winters and Cecil Arnold will be hostesses Prospective members are invited to attend the session.
