Marble Falls Dam Nears Completion in Central Texas
The Marble Falls and Granite Shoals dams by the Lower Colorado River Authority rise on the Colorado River below Marble Falls. Marble Falls Dam will be 90 feet high, 610 feet long, with 44 000 horsepower capacity and a 900 acre lake. The project costs 7 187 560 dollars and aims for January 1951 completion.
