Georgetown Calf Scramble Prizes Revised For Rodeo Week
The Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo at San Gabriel Park will award winning boys $75 certificates to buy calves, with purchases due by March 1 1951 and reports to the secretary. Donations fund 24 certificates from area communities. Leander, Hutto, Florence entries loom. The event features multiple rodeo acts, added money of 1650, and a new $60,000 stadium opening nights 8 p.m.

Bertram Schools Set to Open Next Week With New Teachers
Bertram public schools will reopen Monday under Superintendent J O McKenzie. Teachers will hold a workshop Friday and Saturday. All teaching positions are filled with new staff Margaret Singleton Marvin Hill and Mrs Opal Powell. Large first and second grade enrolment requires two sections, each with a teacher.
