Harvey president Rev A W Freeman vice president Rev S S Potter secretary and George Hit treasurer, with a board of managers. The Cythara was adopted as the standard book, prizes to be awarded next convention, and resolutions expressed thanks to Woodbury, Aurora citizens, the Baptist church, and Thomas Gaff Esq. The society aims to hire teachers and form county classes for sacred music in fall and winter.
