Mrs Lester Grieme hosted a sixth birthday party for Sandra with games and a two course lunch featuring a decorated cake. Guests included Annette Schmidt Mary Louise Otto Marva Jane Reins Maryann and Eleanor Fahr and Gretchen Grieme.

Harold Rainwater spoke at the Cherokee Farm Bureau meeting covering street parking. Russell Alen was reelected chairman and Mrs John Hasenwinkle secretary. Afton ladies tea featured Mrs Victor Carlson as chair and 32 attendees. Pal Club met with 12 members and one guest. A baby girl born to Mr. and Mrs. Gould was announced and several local events noted.
