Instructions to save three or four times seed now and store it in a dry, well ventilated place such as a dry cellar attic shed or spare room. Do not hang seed near livestock damp cellars closed attics over oats or corn or in sunshine.
Iowa clergy are urged to mark National Tuberculosis Day by sermons or addresses, with the Department on Tuberculosis supplying materials and outlines. If October 27 is unavailable, a nearby day may be used. A. E. Kepford, State Lecturer, Des Moines, coordinates state efforts and literature distribution.

A group of about thirty five boys and girls from the Congregational Sunday school surprised Mr and Mrs Robert Hoffman on Monday evening at the L Py Nelson restaurant as they were leaving supper. The youngsters enjoyed games music and singing and were treated to aunt luncheon afterwards.

Harry Holmes has finished the foundation for the J Mummert residence on North Main Street and plans call for a two story brick home with 81 by 52 feet and full amenities. Frank Welch will begin carpentry next week. Nearby the Aurelia Lumber bungalow foundation is finished for a 26 by 42 foot story and a half house with cement cellar, water and heating, gas or electric lighting, and six lower rooms plus two attic rooms. It will be for rent or sale when completed.
