A group of about thirty five boys and girls from the Congregational Sunday school surprised Mr and Mrs Robert Hoffman on Monday evening at the L Py Nelson restaurant as they were leaving supper. The youngsters enjoyed games music and singing and were treated to aunt luncheon afterwards.

Harry Holmes has finished the foundation for the J Mummert residence on North Main Street and plans call for a two story brick home with 81 by 52 feet and full amenities. Frank Welch will begin carpentry next week. Nearby the Aurelia Lumber bungalow foundation is finished for a 26 by 42 foot story and a half house with cement cellar, water and heating, gas or electric lighting, and six lower rooms plus two attic rooms. It will be for rent or sale when completed.
