Neighborhood Social Notes and Church Activities
Mrs. Carol Fredricksen hosted a Tupperware gathering with neighborhood women on Wednesday. Mr and Mrs Jerry Bruce hosted a dinner after their daughter Tricia's baptism at First United Methodist Church. Sunset Knoll Auxiliary met with 14 members and plans a Bake sale Coffee and Raffle on November 20 from 8 to 11 am. Candy Stripers number 13 with uniforms by Mrs Raymond Nelson. November birthdays include Jennie Longwood Art Rydstrom Emma Buckendahl. ACC Club plans a birthday party. Pythian sisters provide favors. Refreshments served by Mrs Z M Bressler and Mrs Howard Deyloff. Womans Fellowship at Congregational United Church of Christ met in church basement with devotion on The Fourth Commandment and The Doors that Close at Sundown. Mrs Harris Leonard gave the devotion. Mrs Fred Kolpin spoke as president and read a poem. Last meeting minutes, thanks notes, and Treasurer report were read. Beulah Dagger reported on Gold Bond Stamps. Elmer Jacob on bylaw changes for Womans Fellowship. Members will bring clothing and gifts for Indians for Christmas. Signed Mable Johnson.

The Country Ramblers 4-H Club held initiation and installation on Oct 18 at 7 30 in Farmers National Bank basement. New members Nancy Conley Marcia Kai and Sue Nelson joined. New officers for 1971 1972 year Kim Nelson president Jody Engdahl vice president Polly Nelson secretary Cathleen Marsh treasurer Jolynn Nelson historian Mary Lynn George reporter Sheila Kai music recreation chairman Lisa Stille photographer. The 1972 calendars were distributed to members to be sold for 1 25 each. Lisa Stille recreation chairman fed members and mothers in a relay.
