Aurelia Temple No 72 Pythian Sisters meet today at 2 pm in their hall. Mrs Lyle Kennady hosted the Pinochle Club Monday with Mrs Donald Smith as a guest. high score won by Mrs Albert Engdshl, second by Mrs Lou Pfaff. Hostess served lunch after the games. Aurelia Friendly Seniors held their Monday night potluck supper.
The Community Center hosted a 72 member meeting led by President Edwin Meyer with plans to purchase a hospital bed for member use. Swine flu shots offered November 15 at the center. Various club activities were noted including readings on Columbus Day, a South America slide show, and social amusements. A card of thanks lists thanks to many individuals.
Expressions of deep gratitude go to friends neighbors and relatives for kindness shown during the family’s time of bereavement following the passing of their father.
