Mildred Agnes Peterson of Spirit Lake Idaho a daughter of Mrs C R Kleeberger Aurelia Iowa debuts a sheet music piece titled Fishin with words and music by Peterson. The cover features a fisherman portrait of her son Don now in his twenties who once worked with Idaho Governor Moses Alexander and later lived in Los Angeles.
Thevenin and Mummert nuptials took place in Spencer Iowa on September 23 during the Clay County fair. Attendants were Alice McKee and Ivan Decker of Cherokee. The bride is the Mummert daughter Aurelia and the groom the Thevenin son southwest of town.

They had a Sunday bye on September 24, won Moville 2 to 0, beat Correctionville 2 to 1, then lost to Sloan 2 to 1 in the final. Matzdorff and Rapp formed the battery for the Drifters. The All-Stars finished 43 won, 28 lost in 71 games this season.
H. 8. football schedule lists Oct 6 Peterson at Aurelia and Oct 13 Kingsley at Aurelia with Oct 27 Schaller and Oct 11 Linn Grove also visiting. Oct 20 Marcus at Marcus and Oct 30 Alta at Alta plus Nov 3 Marathon at Marathon and Nov 17 Sutherland at Sutherland.

The afternoon included pony riding and straw play, followed by lunch. The next gathering is set for Eileen Christensen's home.
