Little Sioux Valley 4-H Club Meeting Minutes
The Little Sioux Valley 4-H Club met at David Stiencke home at 8 00 am May 7 with five members. Leader Kenny Smith led the session. Jim Florine read treasurer and secretary reports. Ronnie Lenz will attend 4-H camp. A junior leadership program was discussed. Stieneke demonstrated wire splicing. Mr Stieneke and David led group games. Lunch was served. Next month the club plans a tour and picnic.

Summer church programs announce services and vacation school
The Methodist Church led by Pastor H. H. Proett announces summer services starting next Sunday June 3 with 9 am worship and 10 am Sunday School. Daily Vacation School opens Monday at 9 am for kindergarten through seventh grade with daily close at noon. Open house for parents Friday night. Choir practice Thursday at 7 o clock. Additional summer meetings planned in the west end.
