Forty Three Men Ordered from Cherokee County for Camp Dodge
The Cherokee county exemption board orders forty three men to report to Camp Dodge in the week of May 25, the largest single quota from the county since last summer. Deferments for agricultural purposes are not allowed. the call follows numbered lists led by W. Oscar Hurd and David Hill among many others from Cherokee and surrounding towns.
