Forty one schools competed for state and tri state meet berths with Reeder to represent Cherokee at the May 6 Des Moines meet and Stevenson and Allee Rootek to Omaha on April 21.

The Iowa Agriculture Experiment Association in Ames offers hybrid corn varieties for trial at 65 cents postpaid per kind. Five pound lots of four hybrids including 942 931 939 and Iowa Hybrid 13 are available from Joe L Robinson secretary. Hybrids 942 939 and 131 show strong yields in state tests with 23 percent above the open pollinated average in 1931 and 14 percent in 1932.
