Aurelia Couple Wed In Navy Theme Ceremony
The wedding continued from the front page features a navy blue gown with white accessories. Cor sages were red roses and the reception for 200 followed at the church parlors. The three tiered cake, baked by Mary Sanborn, used yellow and green accents with a miniature bride and groom on top. Guests from Ruthven, Pocahontas, Aurelia and many towns attended. The bride, a Ruthven High School graduate of 1953, works for Northwestern Bell in Cherokee, and the groom, Aurelia High School 1949 graduate, farmed with his father after Marine service. The couple will live on a farm north of Aurelia after a wedding trip to Minnesota and South Dakota.
