Marlys Mohn and Eugene Bumann attend Concordia Cub week at Okoboji this week. George Bumann, Eugene, Lorenzo Roth and families spent Sunday at Okoboji. Eugene remained for Cub week. Leo Grau and daughter Sharon of Newell visited the Herman Bumann home to help celebrate Mrs Bumann's birthday. Prof and Mrs Kampreth left for Homestead Iowa for their son Victor's wedding. Attending funeral services for Mrs Wm Schaal were Mr and Mrs Henry Winterhof, Mr and Mrs Wm Winterhof, Mrs Fred Radke and Harold Fredericks in Stockton near Davenport. Leland Bettis and daughter Donna Lee of Davenport were dinner guests at the Herman Winterhof home. Mrs Martha Lietz of Alta visited the Herman Winterhof home and attended Arlene Kletz's wedding to Donald Hill at the Lutheran church in Galva. St Johns Lutheran Bible school closed with twenty one pupils attending. A wether roast was noted.
