The community held an ice cream social at the church by the Diamond Ladies Aid, clearing twenty one dollars. Fires destroyed a hog house east of Diamond Center, no livestock lost, origin unknown. Galva’s Truman Peterson crew began building a new hog house. Diamond 4 H club met at Mrs Will Haights to plan a July outing at Storm Lake.
