Captain Moreton’s Son Henry J Moreton Dies in Minneapolis

Henry J. Moreton formerly of LeMars and member of the LeMars Polo team that won the 1893 national championship in St. Louis died in Minneapolis on April 23. A native of Leicestershire England he came to LeMars with his father Captain Reynolds Moreton to help found the Close Bros English colony in the early seventies. The colony produced several baronets as younger sons inherited British titles.
