Obituary of Mrs Dahlgren and lifelong Iowa–Cherokee settlement
The obituary recalls Mrs Dahlgren a longtime resident of Liberty Township Cherokee County born in Iowa and married to Mr Dahlgren in 1870s. She lived in Timber Lane Dakota before returning to Iowa after his 1945 death. She leaves seven children thirty one grandchildren and 64 great grandchildren. She joined the Methodist church as a young woman and enjoyed reading and crocheting. Burial followed at Timber Lake Oak with funeral services at Wharton funeral home led by Rev E Sanworth.
