Sunday school at 9 45 a m divine worship at 10 45 a m dedicates new pipe organ to God. Sacred music program by Dizemar of Fort Dodge and St Pauls Lutheran choir at 7 30 p m. Choir practice Wednesday at 3 o clock. St Johns College quartet from Winfield Kansas to give concert at St Pauls Lutheran church Thursday evening June 10. Ladies Aid meets Wednesday June 9 at 2 p m hosts Mrs Jermanson Mrs Jesse and Mrs Kaskey.
The church led by Pastor G. W. Sietsema announces Sunday services at 10:00 a.m. and morning worship at 11:00 a.m. Circles Mary Guild Peregrin White Priscilla Alden and Mayflower meet in June with hostesses and a church quilted meal. You are invited to worship.
Ernest Stanworth pastor leads morning worship at 11 o clock after a 10 o clock gathering. Claude de St Paer oversees the service. The W S C S missionary circle meets June 9 at Mrs Eurella Johnson hostesses are Mrs Eurella Johnson Mrs Olive Johnson and Mrs Katie Mae McDeid with program leader Mrs Stanworth subject China.

Clyde Helmick of Wright County went fox hunting when a duck was missing. He found a fox den with nine pups and the remains of an additional duck, three or four lambs, three pigs, rabbits, pheasants, a mud hen and chickens.
Five year old Karen Hoth of Sumner was struck by a shotgun pellet in her back yard last week. The pellet penetrated the skin just below the heart, but she has recovered.
A field of 100 acres owned by Roy Numsen near Alcester was plowed in likely a record time last week while Numsen was away tending his injured five year old daughter. Neighbors used 32 tractors in the rapid plowing effort and the child is reported to be improving.
Some prize dairy cattle from Butler and Bremer counties are en route to Mexico. Representatives of the Mexican Agricultural College purchased the cattle for classroom work and for experimental purposes on the college farm at Saltillo Coahuila.
A Korean youth Sookchin Kim aged 18 visited Storm Lake with Richard Gibson. Kim had served in Korea's army intelligence as a linguist and became popular enough to inspire a fund to send him to the United States for education.
Osage Superintendent of Schools G H Sawyer retires after 51 years in the district, including 47 years in the superintendent role, ending a long era of leadership.
Conservation officers report 162 prosecutions in April with convictions in every case. Fines total 2325 dollars in justice courts. Most cases involve illegal fishing, with five hunting cases and three miscellaneous violations.
Jesse Renfrow perished while digging a 12 foot deep hole on the roadside when dirt collapsed trapping him. His dog ran for help but responders arrived too late to save him.
