Ernest Stanworth serves as pastor with church school at ten oclock led by Claude as superintendent. On July 7 the congregation plans a goodwill event to collect bags and donations for temple and community needs.
St Pauls Lutheran Church invites the congregation to a service at 319 am with Pastor Joel E. Ross. A sermon will be given by Rev A Bleeke of Storm Lake, followed by the annual business meeting on July 32. Everyone is welcome to attend the service and meeting.
Mt Olive Baptist Church led by Pastor Henry Olsen offers Bible school classes at 10:00 a m morning worship at 11:00 a m and evening devotions with a sermon at 8:00 p m All not worshipping elsewhere are invited to meet with us.
Pastor C Philip Holmberg leads church school and Bible classes at 10 am with study of the ninth and tenth commandments. Morning worship at 11 am. Confirmation class offered Monday and Saturday at 8 30 am. Wednesday includes Bible study. Ladies Aid meets Thursday July 17 at 2 15 pm with a public supper from 4 to 7 pm.
Immanuel Lutheran Church Bik announces no morning worship. An adult Bible class attendance contest starts at 10 a.m. Next Thursday at 2 30 p m Ladies Aid meets in church parlors led by Pastor C Philip Holmberg.
The Ladies Aid and Rebekah circle held meetings in church parlors with programs led by Barbara Jean Glave and readings by Corrine Larson. Social events included a pot luck lunch, an ice cream social at Richard Glawes, and a memorial service by the Pythian Sisters for Past Chief Emma Kruse.
