Girl Scout Meeting Plans Christmas Week Activities

On Tuesday afternoon December 26 the Girl Scouts gathered at Jean Stutz home. They led the pledge sang the Star Spangled Banner and had inspection by Captain Thomson. The business meeting approved wiring a dance for December 29 and added two new committee members Mrs Percy Clover and Mrs Kenneth Dagger joining existing members. The Junior Scouts were noted to join at the January 2 meeting at 2 30 pm with Captain in charge.

The Sentinel of O office temporarily houses a white terrier female dog with a black head and a single black spot above a bobbed tail. The owner may retrieve her if she remains content with lodging and boarding and does not wander away.

Series of card parties at the I C O F hall with two bridge tables and six 500 tables. Prizes went to Mrs Wes ley Stutz J M Whitney Gretchen Thomson and Dr Port Ed Kohlaghen Mary Fierk Oscar Sansen. Embroidery Club held an Xmas gift exchange. Pythian Sisters hosted an evening of program gifts and popcorn balls. Past Chiefs Club held a three course dinner and a 500 game with multiple prize winners.
