A horse pulling a buggy collided head on with a car near Cedar Falls. The horse was killed and the 86 year old driver Edward Shields was taken to the hospital with a mild head wound.

Sunday includes Sunday school and Bible classes at 10 am followed by an annual Sunday school Christmas program at 7 30 pm. Children should meet in the church parlors at 7 pm. Thursday choir practice at 8 pm. Christmas Day service at 6 am with choral singing at 5 45 am and the Sunday after Christmas communion service at 11 am. A cordial welcome to all.
Miss Dorothy Rohlke and Wesley Volkert were married Thursday night at St. Pauls Lutheran Aurelia in a candlelight double ring ceremony. Pastor Joel E. Ross officiated as Wilbur Rohlke and Ferd Volkert lit the candles and Wilma Volkert sang.
