The Aurelia Sentinel reports E. C. Lighter and family returning from a two week and two day auto tour of more than 500 miles. They traveled from Aurelia to Dyer Indiana, visited Elkhart and Mt. Clemens Michigan, and viewed Belle Isle and Detroit Zoological Park before heading toward Niagara Falls in a 300 mile leg with Mr. and Mrs. Palmberg. Detroit to Canada and Michigan sights on a grand tour

The narrator recalls entering Canada via the Detroit river tunnel and traveling on Canadian soil before viewing the illuminated American falls and visiting the falls and canyon area. The trip included a Henry Ford museum and Edison memorial stop near Dearborn, a Chicago Century of Progress visit, meetings with Mr. and Mrs. C. H.
