Notice records the renewal and amendment of the Aurelia Lumber Company in Aurelia Iowa with principal office and post address in Aurelia. The firm will engage in lumber cement products building materials coal and related trades. Four directors plus named officers to govern the business for twenty years starting January 1 11.
Nearly 1,200 bills were introduced in the two houses. about 260 became law. Enacted measures include abolishing tax ferrets, funding good roads from automobile taxes, creating a Commerce Counsel with Railroad Commissioners, leveling a nominal tax on monies and credits, and issuing life certificates to teachers. Several bills were killed, including a woman suffrage amendment and prohibition amendment.
